As a Peruvian/Mexican/American woman and poet, my goal for this collection is to introduce you to a beautiful Latin American culture that I am very proud to call my own. A culture filled with vibrant colors, smells, flavors, landscapes, language, and most importantly, the role of family in everyday life.
Hello! I am very excited to share my first collection, Chakana, with you! It’s a personal collection, a labor of love for many years and I’m so happy it found a home with Kelsay Books. I live in Wilmington, NC with my husband Erik and daughter Zealie. I love the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and spending the summers in full adventure mode with my family in Colorado.
